“Smell the Sea and feel the Sky, let your Soul and Spirit fly, into the Mystic”

— Van Morrison

This quote from Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic” summarizes what motivated Laurent to do the film and why he dedicated it to Van Morrison. The film and the summit are shining the light on both lifespan and healthspan. In order to enjoy life everyday, at its maximum potential, we need to have a physical body that is strong enough to do so, as we chronologically age. In the film and the summit, you will find clues on how to achieve that, with all the new discoveries and the technology available today. At the same time, it all starts with our mindset and rediscovering what our life purpose is.

Everyday people doing extraordinarily things after their age of 50

THE VISION

“We live two lives — the first one dies, the moment we realize we only have one life to live”

What if everything you’ve been told about aging is wrong? What if the second half of your life could actually be the best part? Not in spite of your age — but because of what you’ve earned, learned, and lived?

All over the world, people in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond are climbing mountains, running marathons, starting businesses, falling in love again, and living with a fire that most 30-year-olds envy. What drives them? What do they know? How do they maintain the physicality, the drive, the joy?

What if you could make the second part of your life, “Your Second Fifty,” to be the best part of your life? Laurent Goldstein, an award-winning filmmaker, explorer, and wellness advocate, set out to answer that question — not from a lab or a lecture hall, but from the trenches of real life.

Laurent explores life over fifty on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual planes. He is a tested warrior in the trenches of longevity optimization. He has attended literally hundreds of health and wellness events in the past 25 years, met with the brightest minds in science, medicine, and human potential.

What started as personal optimization became a documentary mission — a quest to capture the voices, the stories, and the science that could unlock a new chapter for millions.

“What I discovered changed everything — and it’s not what you likely think.”

What People Are Saying

“Body Intelligence. Gives a good understanding of how the mind and body work. We need to remember how we react to everyday life events.”

— Myra P

“Laurent’s passion is contagious. You need to take care of your body’s vitality. We want to do things past our 70’s! Rethink how aging is redefined. Brings us back to optimism and hope to have a good life... inspired.”

— Angela W & Denise B

“Your Second Fifty reframes aging as a time of possibility, growth, and renewal rather than decline, using inspiring stories and diverse perspectives to challenge old stereotypes. Its hopeful tone is lifted even further by an energizing soundtrack from Like Strangers, which keeps the film feeling optimistic and emotionally resonant.”

— Mark Sanna

“A wonderful documentary my friend and a testament to the possibilities and potential that exists for vibrant, extraordinary health and healing in the second half of our lives. Well done!”

— CJ Mertz

“Wow — Excellent work!”

— David Perlmutter

“I learned so much — so positive — touch of humour. Great job!”

— Mike McIntyre

“I just wanted to tell you that the movie is fabulous. It just all makes sense. It’s so well done. You are a true artist.”

— Jeffrey Gross

“I was deeply impressed by how the film empowers people to reclaim their own power and take control of their lives again. Your Second Fifty offers a profound reminder that healing begins from within and that we each have the ability to reinvent ourselves, becoming creators of our own reality at any stage of life.”

— Jace
